Zumba is a dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez during the 1990s. Zumba is a trademark owned by Zumba Fitness, LLC.

Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included. Approximately 15 million people take weekly Zumba classes in over 140,000 locations across more than 185 countries.

Zumba Toning ups the challenge by adding Zumba Toning sticks (light weights). It enhances sense of rhythm and co-ordination while toning target zones including arms, core and lower body.

Pilates was designed by Joseph Pilates, a physical-culturist from Mönchengladbach, Germany. His father was a prize-winning gymnast and his mother a naturopath. He studied both Eastern and Western forms of exercise including yoga.

If practiced with consistency, Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the whole human body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong powerhaus, and improving coordination and balance.

Yoga is also used as a complete exercise program and physical therapy routine.

Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice or discipline that denotes a variety of schools, practices and goals in Hinduism, Buddhism with the best-known being Hatha yoga and Raja yoga.

Is for women who love music from the 80’s and who like to have a laugh whilst getting fit. It will help sculpt your arms, tighten your butt and strengthen your core and increase your balance and flexibility.

Is a fast paced cardio boxing class, combining boxing, strength and circuit training. It is designed to improve your strength, cardiovascular health and improve your co-ordination and confidence. Even more fun if you bring a friend to punch!
